Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness based therapy combines techniques and strategies to help clients better manage their thoughts and emotions. Mindfulness therapy is broken into two different types: Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

Research has demonstrated numerous benefits of incorporating Mindfulness into your daily routine. These benefits include but are not limited to: improved emotional regulation,  increased generosity and altruism, decreased ruminating thoughts, reduced stress, increased focus and working memory, improved relationship satisfaction, and increased cognitive flexibility.
