Reclaiming Futures Counseling strives to provide a comfortable, empathic, inclusive environment to facilitate an authentic therapeutic relationship. Most counseling sessions are approximately 55 minutes in length.
STEP ONE: Reach out! Submit our contact form and let us know briefly what is bringing you to counseling as well as any scheduling needs or preferences and your insurance information. You should expect a reply within 1 business day as RFC is committed to timely responses.
STEP TWO: E-mail consult with Intake Coordinator to ensure your focus need is within RFC’s scope of practice and that your scheduling needs match availability. RFC will obtain insurance information and provide estimated covered benefit information, including estimated deductible, co-pay, and/or co-insurance. (Note: As a disclaimer, RFC cannot guarantee any quoted benefit and you are encouraged to confirm by calling the 800# on the back of your insurance card)
STEP THREE: Become a client by scheduling an initial evaluation. This first appointment is a more in depth opportunity to assess fit with your therapist. All RFC clients have access to an online portal to view appointments, complete forms, and access their financial ledger. All forms, intake documents, and client demographics are to be completed within 48 hours of the scheduled initial appointment. The online portal is HIPAA secure and encrypted.
STEP FOUR: The first few sessions are generally an ongoing conversation to get to know you and understand what your needs are. Throughout this process, goals and objectives will be explored and potential treatment interventions will be discussed. After a treatment plan is developed and signed, sessions will focus on agreed upon goals and objectives.
