Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness based therapy combines techniques and strategies to help clients better manage their thoughts and emotions. Mindfulness therapy is broken into two different types: Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

EMDR

EMDR focuses on how past experiences are being activated by current stressors or future worries. It is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on the brain's ability to learn and integrate present information into the memories of past experiences. EMDR can be used to treat trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, addiction, chronic pain, eating disorders, and more.

Individual Counseling

Individual Counseling is one-on-one sessions with a therapist who can help you explore things that may be difficult to face alone. ​Counseling can help to uncover the underlying causes of your worries and fears, learn relaxation techniques, look at life situations in a new- less frightening way, and develop better coping and  problems-solving skills.

Teletherapy

Convenience. From the comfort of your own home, from your office during your lunch hour, or on vacation in the state of Michigan, you can benefit from therapy easily.​ Research supports that teletherapy is just as effective as face-to-face therapy and can eliminate numerous barriers to treatment.
